I am a writer, producer, and creative director for the world’s top consumer brands and entertainment IP.
Here are some examples of my work.
Quaker Oats | The Golden Bachelorette
Producer and Creative Director
National TV Spot
The directive for this Quaker Oats linear spot was to create positive product sentiment by positioning it alongside the hit TV show “The Golden Bachelorette”. We did this by reuniting fan-favorite contestants and creating recipes that marry the product to tropes from the show (amongst heartwarming conversation!). Subtle cues like lush foliage and an original score evoke a sense of classic comfort. (But all that aside, basically, I just really wanted to create a brunch situation with these ladies!)
Hello Fresh | The Bachelor
Director
National TV Spot
Dinnertime decisions are difficult - even for The Bachelor himself.
Cheerios
Concept, Pitch, Writer, Producer, Creative Director, Talent Negotiations
National TV Spot
Cheerios’s agency wanted to appeal to a broad range of consumers and position Buzz the Bee as an encouraging voice to begin an active lifestyle.
Dr. Pepper Zero Sugar | The Oscars
Concept, Pitch, Writer, Producer, Creative Director
National TV Spot
Dr. Pepper wanted to leverage the excitement of The Oscars to launch the new Dr. Pepper Zero Sugar product. Produced fully remotely during the pandemic.
DoorDash | The Emmys
Concept, Pitch, Writer, Producer, Creative Director
National TV Spot
DoorDash presented the challenge of launching their non-food-item delivery service. What better way to show this than with a very demanding Tiffany Haddish racing to get ready for The Emmys?
Angry Birds Audition
Concept, Pitch, Writer, Creative Director
Collaboration with Sony Pictures on the launch of the Angry Birds franchise.
Cadillac | The Oscars
Concept, Pitch, Writer, Talent Negotiations, Creative Director
National TV Spot (Oscars premiere)
A rousing, powerful story of Regina King’s figurative and literal road to Hollywood.
Swiffer
Concept, Pitch, Writer, Producer, Creative Director
I probably shouldn’t tell you what my favorite spot that I’ve made is. But, this is it. I wanted to challenge myself by making a music-based spot without a single spoken word. The client loved it so much, they renewed the ad’s run 3 times.
Google Pixel
Concept, Pitch, Writer, Producer, Creative Director
Cross-Network, Cross-show Branded Interstitial
Imagine getting a “sext” from your father. This awkward predicament was the premise for a series of spots that tied together ABC’s black-ish and Freeform’s grown-ish for the launch of the Google Pixel 2, starring the luminous Yara Shahidi.
JCPenney
Concept, Pitch, Writer, Producer, Creative Director
National TV Spot
The directive from JCPenney was to showcase how the store has “style and value for all.” What if that statement was so true that it could pull together two different characters from two different TV shows to converge in one impossible encounter? Starring Katy Mixon from American Housewife and Jenna Fischer from Splitting Up Together.
Reddi Wip
Concept, Pitch, Writer, Producer, Creative Director
National TV Spot
Sex is complicated. Dessert shouldn’t be.
Oscars | Marriott Bonvoy integration
Concept, Pitch, Writer, Producer, Creative Director
In-show integration, transition, and national :30 spot
This was huge. Marriott wanted to create a memorable “Oscar moment” for the launch of the Bonvoy loyalty program. I concepted the seamless transition from the Oscars to commercial, wrote the transition voiceover, wrote and produced the 30-second introduction spot, created the in-show screen effects, and produced the entire sequence with the Oscars production team and AMPAS.
Humana
Concept, Pitch, Writer, Producer, Creative Director
National TV spot
Custom spot created for integration into Dancing with the Stars
Target | The Wonderful World of Disney
Concept, Pitch, Scriptwriter, Producer, Creative Director
Target sponsored an airing of Mary Poppins under the Wonderful World of Disney banner, and wanted a heartwarming (but branded!) series of interstitials to carry the viewer through the night. I pitched the concept of Dick Van Dyke losing the key to the Disney Vault, which was then found by the Target dog. Dick then took a walk down memory lane as he discovered actual original props from the film in the vault as he shared his memories with us, and encouraged us to create our own memories that night too. This unprecedented effort called for the creation of the storied Disney Vault on television.
